Position Summary:
The analytical team is responsible for leading all analytic engagements within Merkle. Our role is to design innovative analytic solutions to solve complex business problems. Through analytically derived insights, we often provide our clients with visibility into their business while systematically leading them towards improved business performance. 
As part of the team, you will be engaged in a variety of analytic projects with different aspects of the customer lifecycle. To be successful in this role, you will need strong problem solving skills, ability to work independently in a fast‐paced entrepreneurial work environment, be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and change. Ability to handle multiple projects and collaborating with your co-workers is essential.
Position Responsibilities:
<UL>

<LI>Analyze and manage data using SAS, SQL or other languages as required </LI>


<LI>Implement analytical solutions using the following techniques: Predictive statistical modeling, Customer profiling, Segmentation Analysis, Survey Design and Analysis, Data Analysis and Mining, External Data Enhancement, and Econometric and financial analysis</LI>


<LI>Evaluate and improve internal tools and processes </LI>


<LI>Adapt statistical methods according to business problems </LI>


<LI>Develop and test experimental designs, sampling techniques, and analytical methods </LI>


<LI>Report results of statistical analyses, including information in the form of graphs, charts, and tables </LI>


<LI>Conduct basic business analysis and reporting </LI>


<LI>Perform ad hoc analysis of business situations, systems, issues and problems </LI>


<LI>Develop computer‐generated statistical and financial models </LI>


<LI>Analyze marketing channels and exploring new business opportunities </LI>


<LI>Mentor new colleagues </LI>

Position Qualifications:
<UL>

<LI>BS degree, MS degree preferred from a top university in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Operations Research, Engineering and etc.) </LI>


<LI>Strong problem-solving skills </LI>


<LI>Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities </LI>


<LI>Excellent written English ability </LI>


<LI>Proficient in Oral English </LI>


<LI>Experience in SAS Programming is required </LI>


<LI>Experience in Statistical Modeling is required </LI>


<LI>Experience in Marketing and Business are preferred, but not required </LI>


<LI>Experience in SQL Programming are preferred, but not required </LI>


<LI>Excellent work ethic and great team player </LI>
