Company Introduction: Grok is a Beijing-based firm that provides outsourced research and consulting support to western education institutions doing business development in China. It specializes in helping North American, Australian and New Zealand education institutions expand their involvement in China through market research, project management, managing relationships with Chinese education institutions, running recruitment and marketing programs, and helping institutions recruit and manage education agents. It has been active in the China market since early 2005, and have completed dozens of projects for various western federal and provincial governments, schools and companies. Grok is led by a team of business development and operations executives who collectively have over two decades experience in western high tech MNCs and international education organizations. They are passionate about the social and economic benefits of international education, as well as mentoring and developing their people to achieve career growth. Key Responsibilities: 1. In conjunction with institution’s program officer, maintain customer’s strategic academic partnerships and develop new academic partnership opportunities. 2. Responsible to promote the institution in China, building the right image and branding in the market, managing the communications through websites and social media. 3. Develop knowledge of the institution’s context, and propose valuable ideas to the institution base on the China market conditions to make sure the market strategy and campaigns are well developed. 4. Assist with programs that institution need implement in China, evaluate programs and recommend for further improvement. 5. Develop and manage agency, conduct training properly with agents and other partners to help them understand the institution’s programs. 6. Attend Marketing events and fairs to promote institution, support agents and partner institutions on marketing campaigns. 7. Provide assistance and guidance to prospect students and their parents. 8. Other daily activities that Executive Director assigned.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor degree or above, majoring in management or marketing background. 2. 5 years or above working experience in managing market channels/ projects/ or marketing in education or international education industry. 3. Have an ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin Chinese and is skilled in both written and oral communication skills demonstrated on a daily basis. 4. Strong marketing or partnership development ability. 5. Keen market insight and analysis ability with strong business negotiation ability. 6. Passion in International Education industry and oversea expat returnee is preferred.
